Baking Binge

Hello there! A few weeks back I went on a baking binge because it’s summer vacation and I can’t help myself. My fave has been making french macarons because of how delicate and fun they are! I made not one… not two… but three batches of macarons… AHH!

My first batch was a coffee macaron with a coffee (mostly chocolate tasting) ganache. It just sounds so fancy! I love iced coffee and coffee ice cream and now I can say I love coffee macarons too!

My second batch of macarons (which is now my favorite macaron recipe to date) is a cinnamon roll macaron! The frosting on the inside was what really made this  macaron taste so much like a cinnamon roll. In my opinion it was also the most beautiful from my two other batches.

My third batch was really just both cinnamon roll and coffee macarons because I just used the extra fillings. The only thing that is different is the color, which I decided to dye blue (cause why not).

Whenever we have really ripe bananas I just NEED to make banana bread… It’s always calling my name! I got a pan that makes individual breads which is so convenient for an end of the school year gift to a teacher, or even a mini goody bag! Goes great with a cup of tea or coffee!

If you don’t already know, I am Armenian, so I decided I would try to make Armenian nazook! It’s dough with a sugary filling in the middle that’s rolled up kind of like a cinnamon roll! Literally one of my favorite desserts to have with tea!!
