• Nutella Hot Chocolate

I love hot chocolate and I love Nutella so when I heard that Nutella hot chocolate   is a thing, I was all for it. Especially during winter/Christmas time I LOVE drinking hot cocoa. Today I have an easy recipe for you guys. It’s not a professional recipe, so you basically eyeball everything to your liking. I fill up the mug that I am going to use with milk (to measure out how much milk I’ll need). I then put the milk in a pot and heat it up on medium heat until it is hot. When the temperature is to my liking I add a couple tablespoons of Nutella. You…

  • Summer Breakfast // Omelette

Recently I decided that an omelette sounded pretty good for breakfast, so I made one! Since it’s summer vacation I have more freedom with what I make for breakfast and I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can before school starts up again… Here is my version of an omelette: 2 Eggs Garlic Salt Salt + Pepper Cold Cuts (usually turkey or ham) 2 Slices of Cheese Optional: Avocado (for topping) In a small bowl I add the eggs, garlic salt, and salt + pepper. I whisk it with a fork and heat up the pan to cook the eggs in. Once the first side is cooked I flip…

  • Baking Binge

Hello there! A few weeks back I went on a baking binge because it’s summer vacation and I can’t help myself. My fave has been making french macarons because of how delicate and fun they are! I made not one… not two… but three batches of macarons… AHH! My first batch was a coffee macaron with a coffee (mostly chocolate tasting) ganache. It just sounds so fancy! I love iced coffee and coffee ice cream and now I can say I love coffee macarons too! My second batch of macarons (which is now my favorite macaron recipe to date) is a cinnamon roll macaron! The frosting on the inside was…

  • Lemon Poppy Seed [French] Macarons

I love baking and something that I have been practicing is french macarons. It’s honestly the hardest cause you never know how it’ll turn out until its out of the oven. I am always on the edge of my seat when I make them, and that’s probably why I keep trying and trying. The main thing that shows I succeeded is when the macarons have the “feet” on them when baking. If you don’t already know the “feet” is the crinkly/bubbly/flaky looking thing that is around the bottom of the macaron. I have been using the same recipe that I found from YouTube and it is very simple compared to some other…

  • German Pancakes + a New Kitchen

Yesterday (Saturday) was the first time I used the new kitchen. If you didn’t know already, some of our office and kitchen got flooded because of a broken pipe. Since that day we came home with a wet kitchen, we have not had a “normal” home. The flooding gave my family a chance to finally redo our kitchen. There has been construction in the kitchen for a few weeks now, and it is coming together SO beautifully. Most/almost all the cabinets are in, the granite is in, and our new appliances are in. There are still a few things to do, and than we’ll have a (hopefully) normal house again!…
