• Oxnard Vacation // Mandalay Bay

In mid June my family went to Oxnard for vacation. I ended junior year, my sister ended freshman year, and it was just a celebration of everything in one. We would relax by the beach, put our feet in the water, watch the sunset… It was beautiful. There is something about being by the beach that is so relaxing! I don’t know what it is, but I love it. We also escaped the overwhelming heat. Our town was in the hundreds and Oxnard was about 70 degrees. What a difference! This is where we ate dinner our first night. It was so good! It also had a very pretty view. The…

  • Chicago in April // #throwback

In 2014, my family went to Chicago for my cousin’s wedding. By family I don’t mean just my immediate family, but basically all of my cousins on my moms side. I was so excited, cause I hadn’t been to Chicago before. The last time I was on a plane was when I was 3, so I didn’t remember my last plane ride. I love traveling too, which made it SO MUCH FUN. (This blogpost will include iPhone photos as well as my camera photos.) Waiting at the airport we got some macarons and lattes. Then we got on a plane to Chicago, Illinois. When we arrived it was already midnight,…

My mom wanted to do something with a tea party type of vibe, so we went out for an afternoon tea. It was the cutest place! Since it was raining, we could not sit outside, but the lighting was amazing because we sat right next to the window. Before Valya was born, my family gathered in the hospital waiting room awaiting the news of her birth. We did not know if it was a boy or a girl, until my uncle came out from the big hospital doors and said “It’s a…

  • Disney for Baba’s Birthday

For my dad’s birthday, we as a family went to Disneyland to celebrate. It was a fun time spending the day together and not going to school for an extra day (yay for a longer weekend!). Disneyland holds a special place in my heart, because of how many times I’ve been there and how many memories I’ve made with my family. Ever since our annual passes expired, I realized that we won’t be going as a family for awhile… but it will hopefully be sooner than expected. I don’t know why, but I’ve always taken these types of pictures from the parking lot. It’s my signature style 😉 My favorite…
