• Christmas Session // Srourian Family

Hello there, friends! I took my first family Christmas photos and love how it turned out! This family is the BEST and sweetest to be around. They are not just friends, but also family. I love the red they wore because it just matched with the upcoming Christmas season! Honestly, I am so excited for Christmas and the days leading up to it are the best. Here are the family photos! I hope you love them as much as I do!

  • ‘Tis the Season

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is here and I am super stoked! I love those cold nights listening to christmas music in the car to drinking hot cocoa at home in a cozy blanket watching cheesy Hallmark movies. This season is gonna be bittersweet cause it is the last Christmas break I will look forward to in high school. I have been into hand lettering ever since my freshman year of high school and it has changed my handwriting in the best way #thankful. I have watched many of those Instagram videos of people writing a  Bible verse or a cute little phrase and it is so fun to see how it’s…

  • The Night Before Thanksgiving

Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I decided to give you guys a throwback from my fall photoshoot last year! The most “fall” it gets is the pretty sunset and fake pumpkin that we used for only 2 pictures 😜. In SoCal there isn’t much autumnal weather… the coldest it gets is maybe 55 degrees and even then were freezing! I did this photoshoot with my friend, Sam and my sister, Sarah in October of 2015 and still today this is my favorite photoshoot EVER. The lighting was just right and I’m so glad it was. I remember I was just learning how to shoot in manual comfortably, practicing any second I could because…

  • Finding Inspiration

Finding inspiration nowadays is a hit or miss. There are so many highs and lows that come with it. Sometimes it’s the little things that can inspire you and for me today it was a brand new leather notebook and blanket scarf (i know, really random). The light was just right and I decided to whip my camera out and snap a few pictures. Thanksgiving is coming up in a few short days and I thought that these pictures were really festive! I played around with different layouts of random items, rearranging a few things, and getting different angles for pictures! There are so many different ways to be inspired! One of…

  • Sparklers

Hello dear friends! I just realized how important it is to blog (especially it being my last year of high school). I hate taking a long break in between blogposts, but it will be a personal challenge for me to blog at least once a week. My blogiversary is also coming soon up! Tonight I had a spontaneous photoshoot with myself because I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time! I’ve had these sparklers for almost a year and have been itching to take pictures with them. I tried many shapes and here is the end result… I hope you enjoy them! I am so glad I finally…

  • Birthday Bonanza

Hello friends! A few weeks back it was my 17th birthday and my family and I celebrated. I love adventuring and we definitely did exactly that. The first adventure of the day was buying macarons. It was a treat because I usually make my own, but this time I got to choose already made ones with a variety of flavors. Our second thing on the to-do list was lunch at a Japanese BBQ place in the mall. I wanted to go to a place like that and I’m so grateful I did! (FYI if you didn’t know already Japanese/Korean BBQ is when you cook the meat yourself on a grill that is…

  • My First Baseball Game Ever!

Last Wednesday I went to the Dodger Stadium and watched the LA Dodgers play against the Arizona Diamondbacks. I had never been to the Dodger Stadium before and was shocked at how big it was! I never realized that part of it was open (you can clearly see the baseball field from the parking lot). I’m such a newbie at baseball and am not a sporty person so that could explain why I don’t really understand it much. Even though most of the time I didn’t understand what was going on I still had a great time! Major league baseball games keep the crowd entertained and that was my favorite part. There was…

  • Pasadena & Urth Caffe

Last week (Labor Day) my family and I went to Pasadena to put another check on my bucket list. We went to the outdoor mall there and ate dinner. I got fish and chips and it was pretty good! Afterwards my siblings got ice cream from Cold Stone but I opted out because we planned on going to Urth Caffe and I wanted to save my appetite. I love the details and vibe of this place. The color of the mosaics and the scenery are just so beautiful. It’s a casual place, but also fun to study or have a meeting as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Urth is such a lively…

  • Alfred Tea Room

This summer I made a “Summer Bucket List” because it was my last summer going into high school and I wanted to make it special. I will probably have another post specifically on it. My top thing was Alfred Tea Room in Hollywood. When I got the chance to go there yesterday I became so excited! It is so beautiful (from what I saw on Instagram) and when I actually got there it did not disappoint! I prefer tea much more than coffee and I love the color pink, so this place just screams my name! You can take a picture from any angle and this place will still look…

  • Welcome, Stryker ❤️

So… Senior year started but… with a new dog! I’ve never owned a dog in my life, so I’m SO EXCITED! Our good friends gave him to us and still get to see him often! It has been a great start to Senior year and it’s gonna be a great year I just know it 😜 I’m so thankful that we get to keep him for good. He’s the cutest!! Enjoy these action shots I took tonight of Stryker!
