• Tea Party for Valya // The Tea Gardens

Today, my mom, sister, aunt, cousins and I went to The Tea Gardens to celebrate my cousin, Valya’s birthday. My mom wanted to do something with a tea party type of vibe, so we went out for an afternoon tea. It was the cutest place! Since it was raining, we could not sit outside, but the lighting was amazing because we sat right next to the window. Before Valya was born, my family gathered in the hospital waiting room awaiting the news of her birth. We did not know if it was a boy or a girl, until my uncle came out from the big hospital doors and said “It’s a…

  • Disney for Baba’s Birthday

For my dad’s birthday, we as a family went to Disneyland to celebrate. It was a fun time spending the day together and not going to school for an extra day (yay for a longer weekend!). Disneyland holds a special place in my heart, because of how many times I’ve been there and how many memories I’ve made with my family. Ever since our annual passes expired, I realized that we won’t be going as a family for awhile… but it will hopefully be sooner than expected. I don’t know why, but I’ve always taken these types of pictures from the parking lot. It’s my signature style 😉 My favorite…

  • Americana // A Day in Glendale

Had such great food and spent good time with good friends. I miss living in Glendale sometimes and then remember why we moved when we are there. There is so much traffic and too many people; it’s too overcrowded. Though it is fun to reminisce and spend time there for a day. Here are snippets from that day I got to relive being in Glendale… Shish Kabob was what we had for lunch AND IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! THE RICE WAS AMAZING TOOOO!

  • Cloudy Day at the Park

This past weekend, my family and I went to a birthday party! I did take some pictures at the party, but I also took some ‘just for fun’ shots as well! The weather was cloudy and cold, so the lighting was AMAZING. Us girls were just having fun taking photos of each other. I told them to  make some fierce poses and faces. It was a blast to take these pictures and make more memories with these sweet girls. (I used my 50mm 1.8 for all these, if you were wondering) Talia spilling some of her *hipster coffee onto the grass Gotta take that obligatory Saltwater Sandal picture! It’s all…

  • VC Bible Study // Christmas Party

Yesterday was our Bible study’s first ever Christmas party! We had some amazing food like trip-tip, cheesy potatoes, yummy bread, etc. We played a really funny game and had an overall great time. Here are a few snippets of the night. The kids played Apples to Apples Junior Some home roasted coffee after dinner

  • A Day Out // Veteran’s Day

Today, went to our friends house because why not (It was actually one of their birthday’s). SO anyways, we also did not have any school! I have not had a break from school, since the end of September. It’s crazy how long the gap was between breaks. We had pizza from Little Caesars, chips, and lemonade for lunch/dinner. The boys went and played while the girls and (mostly) I played around with the natural light in their living room. This spot is probably MY FAVE because of how much light there was. I’m obsessed with natural light, if you haven’t noticed. I am thankful for the veterans who have served…

  • Last Football Game of Junior Year

Hello, friends! This past Friday was my school’s last football game of the season. I hadn’t gone to any home games yet, so I really wanted to at least go to the last one. October is breast cancer awareness month and our school always has a “PINK” game, (where the students are suppose to wear pink to the game). We never had a home game in October, so we just had our game the first week of November. It was also the first time our dance team performed! Yes, we finally have a dance team, and yes they did amazing! The weather was perfectly cold and I loved…
