Chicago in April // #throwback
In 2014, my family went to Chicago for my cousin’s wedding. By family I don’t mean just my immediate family, but basically all of my cousins on my moms side. I was so excited, cause I hadn’t been to Chicago before. The last time I was on a plane was when I was 3, so I didn’t remember my last plane ride. I love traveling too, which made it SO MUCH FUN.
(This blogpost will include iPhone photos as well as my camera photos.)
Waiting at the airport we got some macarons and lattes.
Then we got on a plane to Chicago, Illinois.
When we arrived it was already midnight, and we were dead tired. So the next day, which was wedding day, we had breakfast at Corner Bakery. It made it even more special because it was in Downtown Chicago and it had that “New York City” feel to it.
The church they got married in was SO beautiful!
…this is what it looked like on the inside.
This was right before the wedding was about to start.
I love Andrew. He’s too cute.
I did not take any pictures at the reception, but it was so fun dancing and spending time with family!!
The day right after, we ate breakfast altogether, and it was pretty great.
Right after brunch, we said bye to our family because most of them were leaving that day. After that we ventured around Chicago.
I was so excited to see the Chicago Bean! It was the only thing on my to-do list for touring the city. It is the coolest and most randomest thing. It’s literally a mirror shaped as a bean.
There were many photos taken soon after arriving at the bean…
After visiting Millennium Park, we walked around more
We also have family in Illinois, so we decided to visit them. It was fun reconnecting & meeting with them!
The next day we went back home… 😔
