Tea Party for Valya // The Tea Gardens
Today, my mom, sister, aunt, cousins and I went to The Tea Gardens to celebrate my cousin, Valya’s birthday. My mom wanted to do something with a tea party type of vibe, so we went out for an afternoon tea. It was the cutest place! Since it was raining, we could not sit outside, but the lighting was amazing because we sat right next to the window.
Before Valya was born, my family gathered in the hospital waiting room awaiting the news of her birth. We did not know if it was a boy or a girl, until my uncle came out from the big hospital doors and said “It’s a girl!”. I loved that time because by the time my uncle told us it was the middle of the night. Afterwards we slept at my grandma’s house.
So, with that, we celebrated Valya turning 5 years old. Some people say she looks like me. Some people also say she looks like my mom. I personally don’t know, but I know that I love her, and am happy that God placed her in our crazy/amazing family!
